Start thinking of excuses now

The time has come where I have finally succumbed and am on my way to pick up a new car.
It’s not a flash car, nor a fast car but has a heater and a radio. For the last three winters I have ridden the mud covered, slippery and dark roads of Shropshire and it has bit by bit ground me down, so it’s time to return to the cage in the winter and leisure ride in the summer.
In fairness, I took the test to ride for leisure and pleasure but as the roads are getting worse the joy is slowly ebbing away.
Of course. I will be back on the road as soon as the dry returns. But until then it’s 20 degrees and Radio four for me.

Jacqui Smith, British Home Secretary who currently presides over the biggest joke of a department within British Government said:
” I believe there is a demand, now, for [ID] cards - and as I go round the country I regularly have people coming up to me and saying they don’t want to wait that long ”
Sorry Jacqui, you are a liar. No right minded individual wants to sign up for your scheme. Why don’t you quit and let somebody else have a stab at your job - you have spent the last few years just playing at this. Clear off

Lewis Hamilton. Racing prodigy, British Icon, role model, consumate professional.
After a season of exciting racing, surprise winners, controvesial decisions, landmark night races and some thrilling pit lane fiascos the season ended to the Brazilian crowd booing the newly crowned World Champion, Lewis Hamilton.
In a fairly interesting race, Hamilton had to turn to Lady Luck and a troubled Timo Glock to clinch the World Championship by 1 point.
Massa, however did everything he had to and winning the race could reasonably have dared to hope for the championship to go his way, alas, this year it was not to be.
Now, I am usually supportive of the British hope but for the next F1 season I will be wholeheartedly supporting Massa for the championship. For a young man in such high pressure c

For the last 3 years I have followed the Formula 1 with some interest, I find it to be quite interesting to follow the weekend and have watched some very exciting races, so, with this in mind I thought it might be fun to go to see first hand the spectacle that is Formula 1.
I went to F1.com and was pleased to see that there are already some tickets on sale for next year, I selected so see the prices in British Pounds and fortunately I was sitting down.
The best price I could find was at Spa with a weekend general ticket (read shite views, no screen, the best spots will be taken extremely early and it will be a rubbish experience) costs £142.73.
Nearly £150 quid for very little, this is an absolute disgrace. This kind of elitist pricing should be abolished by law. With these prices it is simply a wealthy mans club, no wonder Formula 1 is surrounded by and full of snobs and pulic school toffs.
An absolute scandal, particularly in the light of F1’s move to the BBC.
